Overlays
Asphalt overlays consist of a layer of asphalt paved over the existing asphalt or concrete surface of a parking lot or roadway. Overlays can help smooth out existing paved surfaces and save money. Overlays can also help cover repaired areas and, in some cases, even eliminate or postpone work on areas that would have needed complete replacement. Overlays also reduce noise and help prevent pavement stress, increasing service life of your paved area while offering a clean and attractive curb appeal.
Sealcoating
Sealcoating prevents harmful chemicals from damaging your asphalt such as; vehicle fluids, UV damage, water, weather and traffic. This coating of protective material extends the life of your pavement and reduces pavement failure. We utilize the latest industry techniques when installing a sealcoat. Sealer is applied by either a hand squeegee, hand-held sprayer, or with a squeegee machine to apply a quality blend of sealcoating material to your property.
Excavation & Grading
Excavation and grading should be the very first step in every construction project. This process includes clearing land, excavation and earth-moving, controlling erosion and soil loss, demolition of existing concrete and asphalt, backfilling holes, concrete milling, and compaction of dirt and rock. Heavy duty machinery is used to get the job done quickly and efficiently while maintaining a highly-accurate grade to save you the cost of extra materials. Please call us for a free estimate.
Traffic Markings
Traffic markings are a vital component in every motorist’s day-to-day life. At Kansas City Concrete and Asphalt Services, Inc., we are well versed in all road markings and are capable of covering a large area of work in a quick amount of time. We have a variety of stencils, color options, and reflective paints available.
Milling
Milling is the process of grinding (or milling) old or failing pavement away in order to install new concrete or asphalt. The milled surface can immediately be driven on, allowing for road and approaches to remain open after the milling has occurred. We are able to recycle the milled materials for use in aggregate and pavement binders. We are also able to accurately match the color and elevation of existing surfaces!
